8-DAY TRIP IN VIETNAM 

DAY 01: HANOI CITY TOUR: 

7.50 – 8.45: Pick you up at your hotel. We start the day off by visiting the ‘Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum’ the final resting place of the beloved Vietnamese hero, Uncle Ho.

Then, you will visit Ho Chi Minh museum and learn more about our president’s life as a revolutionist and the war against France and America. 

At about 10:30 am, we will take a visit to the One Pillar Pagoda, an ancient historic temple.

11.00: We shall visit the world-famous ‘Temple of Literature’ (constructed in 1070 – dedicated to Confucius, sages, and talented scholars). It is the most famous temple in Hanoi, also functioning as Vietnam’s first university and one of the first in the world!!!

 

12.30: We have lunch at a local restaurant with local Vietnamese food.

13.30: After lunch, we have 2 options for a visit

• Option 1: Bat Trang ceramics & pottery village

(On Mondays – Wednesdays  – Fridays )

• Option 2: Vietnam Museum of Ethnology

(On Tuesdays – Thursdays – Saturdays & Sundays)

15.00: Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda – was first built in Hanoi in the 6th century. You will see the oldest Bodhi Tree in Vietnam planted by Ho Chi Minh.

15.45: Leaving for Hoan Kiem Lake to visit Ngoc Son Temple where General Tran Hung Dao defeated Mongolian invaders in the 13th century.

 

16.15: Tour finishes. Back to the hotel.

21.30: Our Tour guide will pick you up by minibus at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and go to the bus office.

22.00: The bus departs for Sapa. It takes about 6 hours to get to Sapa, you will sleep on the bus.

 

DAY 2: TREKKING TO VISIT 3 VILLAGES AT SAPA 

4.00: Arrive in Sapa Town. You continue to sleep on the bus until 6 am. 

6.00 – 6.30: Our guide will pick you up at the bus station to go to the hotel

7.30: Have breakfast then leave the big luggage at the hotel and prepare a light pack for the trekking

*12 km of trekking to visit 3 Villages with 2 different kinds of minorities.

9.00: Begin 12km trek on the small trail down the Muong Hoa Valley towards the Black H’Mong village of Lao Chai.

10.00: Trek downhill through Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai Villages on a small trail for 3,5  hours to a sleep mountainside where the terraced rice paddies of an ethnic minority group

11.00: You will learn about the unique customs of black H’mong people.

12.30: Have a picnic lunch by Muong Hoa stream or at the local restaurant with Vietnamese food.

14.00: After lunch, we will continue trekking along a small terrace of rice paddies with H’Mong People to Ta Van Village, a village of the Dzay Tribes.

17.00: Join the cooking class of the indigenous people guides. Learn traditional food as well as understand the lives of people here.

19.00:  Enjoy your dinner and a welcome “Happy Water“ by the owner of Homestay.

DAY 03: TA VAN – GIANG TA CHAI – SAPA TOWN – HANOI

6.30:  Wake up and experience the Daily Life of a Dzay Minority in the morning.

7.30: Have breakfast with the Dzay family, then check out the homestay 

9.00: Start a 6-8km trek into Hoang Lien Son National Park to view more stunning landscapes.

11.30: Visit Giang Ta Chai Village of The Dao Tribe to enjoy the Jungle Waterfall and the Rattan Bridge (you can even skinny-dip before heading back into town)

12.00: Have lunch in the village before you continue your trek through amazing scenery and to the beautiful waterfall 

13.30: After lunch, you will continue a 2km trail to Su Pan Village where there will be a bus to transfer you to Sapa town at 2:30 pm

-Free time to walk around Sapa Town.

15.30: You will get on a sleeping bus to come back to Hanoi.

22.00: Arrive in Hanoi Old Quarter. Overnight at your hotel in Hanoi. 

 

DAY 04:  HALONG BAY (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER) 

8.00 – 08:30: After the hotel’s breakfast, our driver will pick you up and head to the port for the Halong Bay Cruise.

12.00 – 12.30: Guests will be picked up from Tuan Chau International port and delivered to the Cruises on tenders. After boarding, the Cruise Manager will give a brief about safety regulations and tours. Travelers then will be given room keys and time for freshening before lunch. 

14.30 – 16:00: Kayaking to explore around Halong Bay – Discover the beauty of the bay and learn about the daily life of the local fishermen who live there 

16.00 – 17:00: Stop at Titov Island. On this small island, you can climb up the mountain to enjoy a panoramic view of Halong Bay or you can also swim on the beach if you don’t want to climb. 

17.30: After that, you will get back to the cruise and ready for our Sunset Party with Vietnamese tea, coffee, fresh fruits, and snacks will be served when you’re relaxing on the sundeck 

19.00: Have dinner at the restaurant, after dinner reward yourself with a large selection of cocktails at a panoramic bar with a seasonal pool view, or take one of our onboard activities: board games, movies, and squid fishing.

Overnight in the cruise: 

DAY 05: HALONG – HANOI (BREAKFAST, LUNCH) 

6.30: Start your new day with some exercise or enjoy the sunrise on the bay.

7.30: Have breakfast at the restaurant. 

8.30: Explore the Surprising Cave – the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. It is one of the widest grottoes in Halong Bay with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites 

9.30: Take time to refresh and check out. Bags can be left in the luggage store 

10.00: Join in the cooking class, teaching you how to make our specifically (spring rolls) before an early lunch is served.

12.15: Disembark at the harbor then get on the bus to Hanoi.  

15.00: Our driver will drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi. 

 

DAY 5: NINH BINH – HOA LU – TRANG AN 

 

07h30 – 8h00: Get picked up by our friendly guide then depart for Ninh Binh province

09h15: Have a short break for 15-20 minutes to relax.

10.00: Arriving at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, there are 2 Temples built on the ground of the old royal place, one is dedicated to Dinh King, and the other is to Le King. The visit offers a chance to know more about part of feudal dynasties and historical periods in Vietnam 

12.00: Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant in Tam Coc, the food served with Vietnamese food, local food.

12.50 – 13.00: Get on the tourist bus, continue going to Trang An wharf, take a boat trip to visit Trang An cave complex which was recognized by UNESCO as A World Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An has a wonderful tunnel cave system so Kong’s Movie Group chose this place for the New Version of Kong in 2016- “Skull Island”. With 2 hours for the boat trip, you will be persuaded by the beauty here.

 

 

15h00: Continue the tour for 45 mins cycling around the – village to discover the life of the local people.

15.30: Keep going to visit Mua cave. The place attracts visitors with its many interesting stories. Climb 500 stone steps, here you can see all the way to

Tam Coc, enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the countryside and Ngo Dong river. 

16.45 – 17.00: Get on our tourist bus to return to Hanoi. 

19.00 – 19.30: Arrive at Hanoi, drop off at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. 

Take the evening flight to Da Nang. Overnight at your hotel in Da Nang. 

DAY 06: DA NANG GOLDEN BRIDGE ONE DAY TRIP  

 

08:00 – 08:30: Our bus & tour guide picks you up at your hotel in Da Nang City or Hoi An Ancient Town departing for Ba Na Hills.

 

 

9.00:  Arrive at Ba Na Hills and spend your time on the most modern cable car in Southeast Asia to explore Golden ridge, then take the climbing train to visit Le Jardin D’Amour (consists of 9 gardens), Debay Wine Cellar (old wineries)…

 

 

 

10.30: Continue the 2nd cable car to visit the French Village with lots of different activities.

 

12.30: Have a buffet lunch at a restaurant. After lunch is your free time to explore and play games at the Fantasy Park – a perfect tourist attraction for an entire family as well as to explore King Peak.

 

 

15.00 – 15.30: Return to the cable car station and back to the gateway then transfer back to the hotel.

16:45 – 17:30: Our bus will drop you back at your hotel. 

Get on a car to Hoi An. Overnight at a hotel in Hoi An. 

 

DAY 07: HOI AN HALF DAY TRIP  

07:30: Have breakfast at your hotel. 

09.00: Our guide picks up at your hotel lobby and departs to Cam Thanh fishing village in about 30 minutes.

 

09.30: Arrive at Cam Thanh village, meet local fishermen and experience daily life.

10.00: Take a bamboo basket boat on the Cam Thanh water coconut forest, have a brief introduction to the history there.

11.00: Join local fishermen on the river and enjoy the hands-on experience of round net and cast net fishing.

 

+ Learn to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat and join in a basket boat race.

+ Explore the now peaceful coconut waterways of a past war.

+ Go catch the crabs, coconut mussels.

+ Make funny tools from coconut leaves.

+ Return to the fisherman’s house and welcome a drink.

+ Enjoy Lunch. 

13.00 – 13.30: Get on the bus to come back to your hotel. 

Free time for you to discover Hoi An Old Quarter with some local food in the afternoon.

Take an evening flight to Hanoi. Overnight at a hotel in Hanoi.

DAY 09: LEAVE VIETNAM

Have breakfast at the hotel, pack your luggage, and freely enjoy your last time in Hanoi. Based on your flight time, our driver will pick you up and get to the airport and say goodbye to Vietnam.
